Let the Birthday Celebration Continue

Here are some more pics of his B-Day from WA and OR. As you can see he got the chance to get a little more cake. With the same end results. He never looked happier. Overall I think he made out pretty good. 2 walker/riding toys, a noise box (for lack of better description), and lots of other goodies.

The next post will have pics from the big summer excersion so keep your eyes peeled.

Mr T turns 1!!!!!

Wow what can we say. A year has already gone by and were still havin' a good time. I think you'll be able to tell from the pics below that a good time was had by all. Like the old saying goes... a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let them do the talking!

Let the fun begin...

Ahh yeah its on now!

Mom and Dad get in on the action (I think Sarah was on some sort of fun-fetti buzz)

If you didnt get any its OK Tyler is willing to share

On the next post we'll have some pics of him and the presents. In the mean time here is teaser of Ty with his newest toy. I think he likes it.

Some new pics

Ty loves to walk, he makes everything a push-toy/walker: the highchair, the ottoman, a chair, laundry basket, whatever he can push around! He just needs to figure out how to walk by himself and he'll be so happy. Mom and Dad aren't quite ready for that yet.

Hangin around in the backyard, makin silly faces!

I'm too sexy! Do you love the new look? So fierce!

Is this what you do with a hammer, Daddy?

Cold in Seattle!

Did you say "SNOW"?!!

Hey it was snowing today here! Its April 18th!!! Last weekend it was almost 80 degrees. Crazy weather here, but not as crazy as our little guy. He's crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on everything. Tyler is soooo proud of himself as he stands up and grins, blowing spit bubbles constantly. He's so talented! He is really good at standing up in his crib, trying to play, when its time to go to sleep.

Shawn is going to Alaska for work next week. It will probably be warmer there than here in the Seattle area, the rate we are going. I'm working at 3 different places, all speech pathology just in both pediatrics and adult settings. I guess I can't make up my mind what I like best! I'm sure enjoying the learning experience.

We have been having visitors! Grandpa and Grandma Babe came up to visit for the weekend. Tyler sure enjoyed all the attention. And in a week or so, Grandpa and Grandma Burgon will be coming to visit and spoil Ty-ty rotten. They haven't seen him since Thanksgiving; thats a whole lot of spoiling to catch up on.

We are always up for visitors-if you are in Federal Way, let us know...

More pics of Tyler

Here's some more random pictures of our cute guy! He just started crawling forwards on his own yesterday. I can't believe how fast he's growing. You can't help but smile when you see him, he makes friends wherever he goes!
Tyler in his toy basket. Silly boy!

Just reading the Sunday paper.

So tired he fell asleep during dinner with a mouthful of peaches.

Easter weekend

For Easter weekend we went down to Salem, OR to visit family. We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone. On Saturday we went to the Oregon Gardens because it was a beautiful day, sunny and actually kinda warm! Although not a lot to see at the gardens yet-since nothing is blooming! Whose idea was that anyways?! Well we still had fun. Tyler got to try out the new backpack and even took a nap in it. We are trying to break it in so we'll be ready for our big trip to Yosemite this summer.

Tyler really enjoyed his cousins, Grandpa and Grandma Babe, Bestamama, Uncle Neil, and Aunt & Uncle. I think everyone enjoyed him too- he just smiles and loves to watch all the action. He even showed off his great rolling skills-Aunt Carmen had a nice big floor to roll across!

What beautiful ladies-notice no braces on that hot mama in the middle!
Oh yeahhhh lookin' good!

What a handsome family. Too bad you can't see the cutest one in the back. Shawn says the backpack makes him look "bulgy"...

See any resemblance?

Uncle Bub & Tyler playing with Grandpa's ridiculous pet parrot. The parrot is pretty amazing, it even passes gas!

Just a little power nap to get through the strenous walk.

More of Tyler

Not much has been happening here, just working and getting through winter here in Soggy Seattle area. Oh wait, I can't say that-the sun actually shone today. It was very nice!
Tyler has been sick-he had RSV and is still trying to completely recover. We nicknamed him Ol'Wheezy McGee as he wheezed and coughed. He really enjoyed the inhaler/mask we had to give him-he screamed and cried every time. He also had an ear infection too! Poor guy! Shawn's been having colds on and off, including sinus infections. But don't worry, Mama Sarah still had time to take her naps once in awhile as she took care of her sick boys. Hopefully something exciting will be happening soon that we can share. I guess thats the problem with having a blog, when you don't have a real exciting life, there's really not much to write. But I do have some cute pics of Tyler to share. He's on his way to crawling, just rolling and rolling right now. He can even scoot backwards but hasn't really caught on to forwards yet. He'll get there-all too soon!

Tyler likes to make this face, especially when he's talking to his toys.

Oh, he looks so handsome with his hair all slicked down!

Oh, so sad!

Christmas 07 pics

Christmas was a lot of fun with all the family in Oregon. I just have a few pics here, I need to get more from other people! We had Christmas morning at our house and then drove down to Salem and partied down there for a few days. Tyler had fun with his "best cousins" (as they called him...). He also loved all the action of people opening presents and even tried to eat the wrapping paper. He told me to tell everyone thank you for all the lovely presents.
For New Years, my brother Chris & his family came up to visit. We didn't have grapes on New Years Eve to eat (a Spanish tradition) so we had vitamin C grape fruit snacks. Not quite the same...but maybe a new tradition?! We all had a great time, can't you tell by Ty's face?
Prince Tyler among some of his admirers-Aunt Carmen, Isa, Moni, and Sam (his cousins).

Lots of lovin!

These are Christmas morning...

Ty also got his own stocking from Grandma Burgon!

yippee..Christmas...whatever...
